Time Frames for Select Obligations
Initial Deadline Trigger is the Effective Date of this Agreement.
- Within 90 days of the Effective Date:
- The Company will submit proposed names for ADA Compliance Officer (“ADACO”) and ADA Responsibility Officers (“ADARO”) to the United States for review and approval pursuant to Paragraphs 20A and 21A.
- Within 45 days of the Company’s receipt of the United States’ approval of the ADACO and ADARO:
- The Company will install the United States-approved ADACO and ADARO.
- Within 60 days of the Company’s receipt of the United States’ approval of the ADACO and ADARO.
- The Company will submit proposed training materials to the United States for review and approval pursuant to Paragraph 23A.
- Within 30 days of receipt of the Company’s proposed training materials the United States may provide any feedback.
- Within 30 days of the Company’s installation of the United States-approved ADACO and ADARO:
- Designate and hire ADA Shipboard Officers (“ADASOs”) pursuant to Paragraph 22A;
- Within 45 days of the Company’s receipt of the United States’ approval of the training materials, the Company will:
- Train the ADACO, ADARO, and other relevant members of senior management who will have a role in implementing the Corporate Standards and other aspects of compliance with this Agreement pursuant to Paragraphs 20B, 21B and 23B(1).
- Within 90 days of the Company’s receipt of the United States’ approval of the training materials, the Company will:
- Train ADASOs and all existing first-line supervisors and managers with regular anticipated guest contact pursuant to Paragraphs 22C and 23B(2); and
- Begin training all new first-line supervisors and managers with regular guest contact within 45 days of the employee joining his/her first ship pursuant to Paragraph 23B(2).
- Within 120 days of the Company’s receipt of the United States’ approval of the training materials, the Company will:
- Train all other existing crew/employees with regular anticipated guest contact pursuant to Paragraph 23B(3);
- Begin training all new hire employees with regular anticipated guest contact within 45 days of the employee joining his/her first ship.
- Implement the:
- Corporate Accessibility Standards and Implementation Document pursuant to Paragraph 19;
- Accessibility Request & Grievance Procedures set forth in Paragraph 24; and
- Reservations policies set forth in Paragraph 25;
- Within two years of receiving the appropriate training required by this Agreement, each covered senior executive, manager, supervisor, crew member, and employee will receive “refresher” training pursuant to Paragraph 23B(4).
