NOTICE REGARDING SURVEY OF PROSPECTIVE POLLING PLACE LOCATION

[ON BOARD OF ELECTIONS LETTERHEAD]

The Philadelphia County Board of Elections is conducting a City-wide search for buildings that are accessible to persons with mobility disabilities and can accommodate a polling place on election day.

The U.S. Department of Justice is assisting the City of Philadelphia with this search and wishes to view the inside of the building to see if it can accommodate a polling place that is accessible to persons with mobility disabilities.
Allowing a representative of the Department of Justice to view the inside of the building DOES NOT obligate you to volunteer the building as a polling place on election day. If the Philadelphia County Board of Elections is interested in using the building, it will contact you to explain what will be asked of you and how you will be compensated.

The Department of Justice will only consider whether the building can be made accessible on election day.

If you have any concerns with allowing a representative of the Department of Justice to view the inside of the building, you may call the Philadelphia County Board of Elections at _____________.
