I. Building Entrance Issues
A. Main Entrance to Ground Floor (North end of building)
Remedy:
1. Install a directional sign indicating that the accessible entrance is the side entrance to the first floor (West side of building). Standards §§ 4.30.1, 4.30.2, 4.30.3, 4.30.5.
B. Side Entrance to First Floor (West side of building)
Remedy:
1. Install a directional sign indicating that this entrance is the accessible entrance. Standards §§ 4.30.1, 4.30.2, 4.30.3, 4.30.5.
2. Rely upon the current van accessible parking space and striping at this entrance. Standards §§ 4.1.2(5)(b), 4.6. Also provide an accessible route to the playing fields behind the old gym via a new ramp system behind the parking lot serving the back door. See Item 3, Attachment T.
C. Rear Entrance at Rear Stairwell Landing
Remedy:
1. Install a directional sign at this entrance indicating that the accessible entrance is the side entrance to the first floor (West side of building). Standards §§ 4.30.1, 4.30.2, 4.30.3, 4.30.5.
