I. MODIFICATIONS FOR THE 2008 FOOTBALL SEASON

A. PARKING

Prior to the start of the 2008 football season, the University will make the following modifications to parking provided for persons with disabilities attending games at the Stadium.

  1. Create 16 new accessible parking spaces in the Blue Lot West parking area (Lot SC36). UFAS §§ 4.6.1 - 4.6.4 and Fig. 9. See Exhibit B, Drawing 10, incorporated herein by reference.
  2. Continue to provide the following accessible parking spaces and access aisles referenced below in subparagraphs I.A.2.a - c. UFAS §§ 4.6.2 - 4.6.4 and Fig. 9. For any space whose adjacent access aisle is not currently striped in these lots, the University will provide fencing that outlines the UFAS configured parking spaces and adjacent access aisles and will employ individuals to monitor these accessible parking spaces until half-time of each game in order to ensure that ambulatory individuals do not park in the designated-accessible spaces or the access aisles adjacent to the accessible parking spaces.
    1. 61 accessible parking spaces in the Blue Lot area south of Crisler Arena, inside Kipke Drive (Lot SC2),
    2. 18 accessible parking spaces in the Green Lot by the University's Golf Course, and
    3. 20 accessible parking spaces in the Brown Lot by the University's Varsity Tennis Center.
  3. Continue or implement the following drop-off policies for persons with disabilities.
    1. Beginning in August 2008 and continuing permanently thereafter, the University will allow individuals with mobility impairments to be dropped off and picked up at the following two locations for all football games and other events held at the Stadium:
      1. the north end of the Buffalo Lot by East Hoover Street, and
      2. Gate 2 off Stadium Boulevard west of Crisler Arena.
    2. Provide an attendant to monitor the drop-off location at the Buffalo Lot to ensure that no one parks in the drop-off location before, during, and after events at the Stadium.
    3. Provide 7 golf carts, including two wheelchair-compatible golf carts, operating continuously before and after events at the Stadium to transport patrons to and from the drop off locations (see paragraph I.A.3.a.) and to and from the Blue Lot accessible parking areas and the Green Lot accessible parking area.
    4. Provide an accessible shuttle to and from the Brown Lot to the drop-off locations at Gate 2 (see I.A.3.a.ii.)

B. SITE ARRIVAL POINTS AND CONCOURSE APPROACH ROUTES

The University will make the following modifications to the site arrival points and concourse approach routes prior to the start of the 2008 football season.

  1. Provide an accessible route from Gate 2, by Crisler Arena, to the East Sideline Row 54 Concourse and to the new East Sideline Row 54 Wheelchair Seating. UFAS § 4.3. See Exhibit B, Drawing 1, incorporated herein by reference.
  2. Provide an accessible route that leads from the newly created accessible parking spaces in the Blue Lot West parking area (Lot SC36), to the sidewalk on the north side of Keech Street, and from the north corner of Keech Street and Main Street to and across Keech Street to Gate 8 of the Stadium. UFAS § 4.3. See Exhibit B, Drawing 1, incorporated herein by reference.
  3. Provide an accessible route from Gate 8 to the North End Zone Row 72 Wheelchair Seating. UFAS § 4.3. See Exhibit B, Drawing 1, incorporated herein by reference.
  4. Provide an accessible route from Gate 8 to the new First Aid/toilet room building just inside and north of Gate 9 (opening in 2008), and the new toilet rooms/M-Den building just inside and south of Gate 9 (opening in 2008), and between these two new buildings. UFAS § 4.3. See Exhibit B, Drawing 1, incorporated herein by reference.
  5. Provide an accessible route on the south side of the Stadium between Gates 2 and 4 inside the Stadium perimeter fence on the asphalt area ("exterior concourse"). UFAS § 4.3. See Exhibit B, Drawing 1, incorporated herein by reference.
  6. Because of the ongoing construction on the Stadium site, until the 2010 football season, provide an accessible route between Gate 2 and Gate 4 using the sidewalk along Stadium Boulevard, just outside the Stadium perimeter fence. UFAS § 4.3.
  7. For the 2008 football season only, provide an accessible route from portal 15 to the wheelchair seating on the east side of the Section 14 toilet rooms by removing the benches directly behind the existing South End Zone Row 72 Wheelchair Seating between portals 13 and 14, and between portals 14 and 15. UFAS § 4.3.1 The accessible route to portal 15 is from Gate 4, up the ramp leading to and through portal 15.2
  8. For the 2008 football season only, provide an accessible route from portal 31 to the wheelchair seating on the east side of Section 32 toilet rooms by removing the benches directly behind the existing wheelchair seating on the North End Zone Row 72 between portals 31 and 32, and between portals 32 and 33. UFAS § 4.3.3 The accessible route to portal 31 is from Gate 8, up the ramp leading to and through portal 31.4
  9. All guest services including but not limited to Lost and Found, Student Will Call Ticket counter, Public Will Call Ticket counter, Assistive Listening Devices, Bag Check, Automatic Teller Machines, and public telephones will be located on UFAS-compliant accessible routes.

C. CIRCULATION CONCOURSES

The University will make the following modifications related to the circulation concourses leading from the site entrance approaches to the seating bowl of the Stadium and associated amenity spaces prior to the start of the 2008 football season.

  1. Provide a fixed cane detectable element below the X-bracing along the Main Concourse at Level 72 at the concession stands and in the outer wall structural frames at Sections 9 and 39 on the east side of the Stadium where there is less than 80 inches minimum clear head room along these circulation routes. UFAS § 4.4.
  2. Provide a fixed cane detectable element below the underside of the upper metal bleachers between the following section portals along the Main Concourse at Level 72 where there is less than 80 inches minimum clear head room along these circulation routes. UFAS § 4.4.

  3. Provide a cane detectable metal barricade below the upper concrete bleachers between the following section portals along the Lower East Side Concourse at Level 54 where there is less than 80 inches minimum clear head room along these circulation routes, while maintaining an accessible route of at least 36 inches in width.   4. Modify the approach ramp on the Lower East Side Concourse at Level 54 at the following section portal so that the ramp slope is no more than 1:12. UFAS § 4.8.2.

At the outer side of the outer historic facade on the Lower East Side Concourse at Level 54 at Sections 6 and 39, provide a fixed cane detectable element below the three wall mounted electrical service boxes so that they are not protruding objects with their leading edges projecting more than 4 inches into the circulation route at a height between 27 and 80 inches above the finish floor.   11. Provide a fixed cane detectable element below the handrails at each of the portals along the Main Concourse at Level 72 so that they are not protruding objects with their leading edges projecting more than 4 inches into the circulation route at a height between 27 and 80 inches above the finish floor. UFAS § 4.4.
  12. Remove the seating benches directly behind the existing wheelchair seating platforms in between the following section portals in order to provide the minimum clear floor space for, and the accessible route behind, the wheelchair locations (for a total of 84 inches minimum clear floor space between the platform railing and the metal riser behind). D. TOILET ROOMS

The University will make the following modifications prior to the start of the 2008 football season.

  1. East Concourse Men's Lower Level (Section 1):
    1. Fix the abrupt level change at the transition between the new toilet room floor tile and the existing asphalt approach pavement just outside the entrance and exit doors, respectively so that it is no greater than 1/4 inch high. UFAS §§ 4.13.8, 4.5.2, and 4.3.8.
    2. Provide one paper towel dispenser so that the highest operable portion is no more than 54 inches above the finish floor for a side approach or 48 inches above the finish floor for a front approach. UFAS §§ 4.22.7, 4.27.3, 4.2.5, and 4.2.6.
    3. Replace the paper towel dispensers with dispensers that are not protruding objects with their leading edges projecting more than 4 inches into the circulation route at a height between 27 and 80 inches above the finish floor. UFAS § 4.4.
    4. Remove the drinking fountain adjacent to the lavatories.
    5. Provide an accessible urinal. UFAS § 4.18.
    6. Provide a standard accessible toilet stall with a 60 inch wide clear floor space. UFAS §§ 4.22.4 and 4.17.
    7. Provide an accessible lavatory. UFAS § 4.19.
    8. Provide tactile room identification signage mounted on the wall alongside the toilet room doors on the latch side that designates the toilet room as men's and has the International Symbol of Accessibility designating the toilet room as accessible. UFAS §§ 4.30.4, 4.30.5, 4.30.6, and 4.1.1(7)(d).
  2. East Concourse Women's Lower Level (Section 1):
    1. Fix the abrupt level change at the transition between the new toilet room floor tile and the existing asphalt approach pavement just outside the entrance and exit doors, respectively so that it is no greater than 1/4 inch high. UFAS §§ 4.13.8, 4.5.2, and 4.3.8.
    2. Provide one paper towel dispenser so that the highest operable portion is no more than 54 inches above the finish floor for a side approach or 48 inches above the finish floor for a front approach. UFAS §§ 4.22.7, 4.27.3, 4.2.5, and 4.2.6.
    3. Replace the paper towel dispensers with dispensers that are not protruding objects with their leading edges projecting more than 4 inches into the circulation route at a height between 27 and 80 inches above the finish floor. UFAS § 4.4.
    4. Remove the drinking fountain adjacent to the lavatories.
    5. Provide a standard accessible toilet stall with a 60 inch wide clear floor space. UFAS §§ 4.22.4 and 4.17.
    6. Replace the feminine napkin dispenser with a dispenser that is not a protruding object with its leading edge projecting more than 4 inches into the circulation route at a height between 27 and 80 inches above the finish floor. UFAS § 4.4.
    7. Lower the baby diaper changing table so that, in the open position, the top surface is no more than 34 inches above the floor. UFAS § 4.32.
    8. Provide an accessible lavatory. UFAS § 4.19.
    9. Provide tactile room identification signage mounted on the wall alongside the toilet room doors on the latch side that designates the toilet room as women's and has the International Symbol of Accessibility designating the toilet room as accessible. UFAS §§ 4.30.4, 4.30.5, 4.30.6, and 4.1.1(7)(d).
  3. Southeast Women's Lower Level (Section 7):
    1. Fix the abrupt level change at the transition between the new toilet room floor tile and the existing asphalt approach pavement just outside the entrance and exit doors, respectively so that it is no greater than 1/4 inch high. UFAS §§ 4.13.8, 4.5.2, and 4.3.8.
    2. Modify the exterior maneuvering clearance at the exit door so that it is level. UFAS § 4.13.6. See Exhibit B, Drawing 1, incorporated herein by reference.
    3. Replace the paper towel dispensers with dispensers that are not protruding objects with their leading edges projecting more than 4 inches into the circulation route at a height between 27 and 80 inches above the finish floor. UFAS § 4.4.
    4. Provide an accessible lavatory. UFAS § 4.19.
    5. Replace the feminine napkin dispenser with a dispenser that is not a protruding object with its leading edge projecting more than 4 inches into the circulation route at a height between 27 and 80 inches above the finish floor. UFAS § 4.4.
    6. Remove the wall mounted metal storage cabinet near the exit door or provide a fixed cane detectable element for the cabinet so it is not a protruding object with its leading edge projecting more than 4 inches into the circulation route at a height between 27 and 80 inches above the finish floor. UFAS § 4.4.
    7. Modify the northwest standard accessible stall so that the latch side, pull side door maneuvering clearance extends at least 18 inches past the latch side of the door and change the flush valve so that it is mounted on the wide side of the toilet stall. UFAS §§ 4.17.5, 4.13.6, and 4.17.3.
    8. Remove the International Symbol of Accessibility from the doors of the three remaining inaccessible toilet stalls that are designated accessible.
    9. Provide tactile room identification signage mounted on the wall alongside the toilet room doors on the latch side that designates the toilet room as women's and has the International Symbol of Accessibility designating the toilet room as accessible. UFAS §§ 4.30.4, 4.30.5, 4.30.6, and 4.1.1(7)(d).
  4. North Men's Lower Level (Section 32):
    1. Replace the paper towel dispensers with dispensers that are not protruding objects with their leading edges projecting more than 4 inches into the circulation route at a height between 27 and 80 inches above the finish floor. UFAS § 4.4.
    2. Provide tactile room identification signage, mounted on the wall alongside the toilet room doors on the latch side, which designates the toilet room as men's. UFAS §§ 4.30.4 and 4.30.6.
  5. North Women's Lower Level (Section 32):
    1. Replace the paper towel dispensers with dispensers that are not protruding objects with their leading edges projecting more than 4 inches into the circulation route at a height between 27 and 80 inches above the finish floor. UFAS § 4.4.
    2. Provide tactile room identification signage, mounted on the wall alongside the toilet room doors on the latch side, which designates the toilet room as women's. UFAS §§ 4.30.4 and 4.30.6.
    3. Replace the feminine napkin dispenser with a dispenser that is not a protruding object with its leading edge projecting more than 4 inches into the circulation route at a height between 27 and 80 inches above the finish floor. UFAS § 4.4.
  6. North Men's Upper Level (Section 32):
    1. At the portal 32 ramp side designated accessible entrance door interior vestibule, move the wall so that the width of the accessible route is at least 42 inches wide for an accessible route with a turn around an obstruction. UFAS § 4.3.3.
    2. Provide an accessible urinal. UFAS § 4.18.
    3. Provide a fixed cane detectable element at the divider between the urinals where the overhead structural beams support the metal bleachers above and there is less than 80 inches minimum clear head room along these circulation routes. UFAS § 4.4.
    4. Replace the paper towel dispensers with dispensers that are not protruding objects with their leading edges projecting more than 4 inches into the circulation route at a height between 27 and 80 inches above the finish floor. UFAS § 4.4.
    5. Modify the designated accessible standard toilet stall to provide a side grab bar at least 40 inches long with the far end at least 52 inches from the rear wall; provide a stall door that does not swing into the 59 inch deep toilet clear floor space; and provide stall door hardware that does not require tight grasping, pinching or twisting of the wrist to operate. UFAS §§ 4.17.6, 4.22.4, 4.17.5, 4.17.3, and 4.13.
    6. Lower the baby diaper changing table so that, in the open position, the top surface is no more than 34 inches above the floor. UFAS § 4.32.
    7. Add a cane-detectable element to the electrical switching box located next to the ambulatory accessible stall so it is not a protruding object projecting more than 4 inches into the circulation route with the leading edge between 27 and 80 inches above the finish floor. UFAS § 4.4.
    8. Provide a fixed cane detectable element for the wall mounted metal storage cabinet near the entrance doorway (above the diaper changing table) so it is not a protruding object with its leading edge projecting more than 4 inches into the circulation route at a height between 27 and 80 inches above the finish floor. UFAS § 4.4.
  7. North Women's Upper Level (Section 32):
    1. Replace the paper towel dispensers with dispensers that are not protruding objects with their leading edges projecting more than 4 inches into the circulation route at a height between 27 and 80 inches above the finish floor. UFAS § 4.4.
    2. Provide a fixed cane detectable element for the wall mounted metal storage cabinet near the entrance doorway (above the diaper changing table) so it is not a protruding object with its leading edge projecting more than 4 inches into the circulation route at a height between 27 and 80 inches above the finish floor. UFAS § 4.4.
    3. Replace the feminine napkin dispenser with a dispenser that is not a protruding object with its leading edge projecting more than 4 inches into the circulation route at a height between 27 and 80 inches above the finish floor. UFAS § 4.4.
    4. Provide a side grab bar in the designated accessible standard toilet stall at least 40 inches long with the far end at least 52 inches from the rear wall. UFAS § 4.17.6.
  8. Northwest Women's (Section 29). This toilet room will be demolished after the 2009 football season but the following fixes will be made before the start of the 2008 football season:
    1. Replace the paper towel dispensers with dispensers that are not protruding objects with their leading edges projecting more than 4 inches into the circulation route at a height between 27 and 80 inches above the finish floor. UFAS § 4.4.
    2. Provide a fixed cane detectable element for the two ceiling mounted heaters along the east wall of this toilet room so they are not protruding objects with their leading edges projecting more than 4 inches into the circulation route at a height between 27 and 80 inches above the finish floor. UFAS § 4.4.
    3. Replace the feminine napkin dispenser with a dispenser that is not a protruding object with its leading edge projecting more than 4 inches into the circulation route at a height between 27 and 80 inches above the finish floor. UFAS § 4.4.
    4. Provide tactile room identification signage, mounted on the wall alongside the toilet room doors on the latch side, which designates the toilet room as women's. UFAS §§ 4.30.4 and 4.30.6.
  9. West Men's Under Press box (Section 23) Lower. This toilet room will be demolished after the 2009 football season but the following fixes will be made before the start of the 2008 football season:
    1. Replace the paper towel dispensers with dispensers that are not protruding objects with their leading edges projecting more than 4 inches into the circulation route at a height between 27 and 80 inches above the finish floor. UFAS § 4.4.
    2. Provide a fixed cane detectable element for the pipe rails that divide the inward from the outward pedestrian traffic at the toilet room entrance doors so they are not protruding objects with their leading edges projecting more than 4 inches into the circulation route at a height between 27 and 80 inches above the finish floor. UFAS § 4.4.
    3. Remove the wall mounted drinking fountain.
    4. Provide tactile room identification signage, mounted on the wall alongside the toilet room doors on the latch side, which designates the toilet room as men's. UFAS §§ 4.30.4 and 4.30.6.
  10. West Women's Under Press box (Section 23) Lower. This toilet room will be demolished after the 2009 football season but the following fixes will be made before the start of the 2008 football season:
    1. Replace the paper towel dispensers with dispensers that are not protruding objects with their leading edges projecting more than 4 inches into the circulation route at a height between 27 and 80 inches above the finish floor. UFAS § 4.4.
    2. Provide a fixed cane detectable element for the pipe rails that divide the inward from the outward pedestrian traffic at the toilet room entrance doors so they are not protruding objects with their leading edges projecting more than 4 inches into the circulation route at a height between 27 and 80 inches above the finish floor. UFAS § 4.4.
    3. Remove the wall mounted drinking fountain.
    4. Provide tactile room identification signage, mounted on the wall alongside the toilet room doors on the latch side, which designates the toilet room as women's. UFAS §§ 4.30.4 and 4.30.6.
    5. Replace the feminine napkin dispenser with a dispenser that is not a protruding object with its leading edge projecting more than 4 inches into the circulation route at a height between 27 and 80 inches above the finish floor. UFAS § 4.4.
    6. Provide a fixed cane detectable element for the wall mounted emergency light fixture so it is not a protruding object with its leading edge projecting more than 4 inches into the circulation route at a height between 27 and 80 inches above the finish floor. UFAS § 4.4.
  11. West Women's Under Press box (Section 24) Upper North. This toilet room will be demolished after the 2009 football season but the following fixes will be made before the start of the 2008 football season:
    1. Replace the paper towel dispensers with dispensers that are not protruding objects with their leading edges projecting more than 4 inches into the circulation route at a height between 27 and 80 inches above the finish floor. UFAS § 4.4.
    2. Provide one paper towel dispenser so that the highest operable portion is no more than 54 inches above the finish floor for a side approach or 48 inches above the finish floor for a front approach. UFAS §§ 4.22.7, 4.27.3, 4.2.5, and 4.2.6.
    3. Provide tactile room identification signage, mounted on the wall alongside the toilet room doors on the latch side, which designates the toilet room as women's. UFAS §§ 4.30.4 and 4.30.6.
  12. West Women's Under Press box (Section 22) Upper South. This toilet room will be demolished after the 2009 football season but the following fixes will be made before the start of the 2008 football season:
    1. Lower or provide an accessible wall mounted soap dispenser so that the highest operable portion is mounted no more than 44 inches above the floor for a front reach over the lavatory. UFAS §§ 4.22.7 and 4.27.3.
    2. Replace the paper towel dispensers with dispensers that are not protruding objects with their leading edges projecting more than 4 inches into the circulation route at a height between 27 and 80 inches above the finish floor. UFAS § 4.4.
    3. Provide one paper towel dispenser so that the highest operable portion is no more than 54 inches above the finish floor for a side approach or 48 inches above the finish floor for a front approach. UFAS §§ 4.22.7, 4.27.3, 4.2.5, and 4.2.6.

Provide a fixed cane detectable element for the wall mounted metal storage cabinet near the entrance door (above the diaper changing table) so that it is not a protruding object with its leading edge projecting more than 4 inches into the circulation route at a height between 27 and 80 inches above the finish floor. UFAS § 4.4.
    2. Provide a fixed cane detectable element at the divider between the urinals where the overhead structural beams support the metal bleachers above and there is less than 80 inches minimum clear head room along these circulation routes. UFAS § 4.4.
    3. Replace the paper towel dispensers with dispensers that are not protruding objects with their leading edges projecting more than 4 inches into the circulation route at a height between 27 and 80 inches above the finish floor. UFAS § 4.4.
    4. Modify the designated accessible standard toilet stall to provide a side grab bar at least 40 inches long with the far end at least 52 inches from the rear wall; and provide a stall door that does not swing into the 59 inch deep toilet clear floor space. UFAS §§ 4.17.6, 4.22.4, 4.17.5, and 4.17.3.
    5. Lower the baby diaper changing table so that, in the open position, the top surface is no more than 34 inches above the floor. UFAS § 4.32.
  17. South Women's Upper Level (Section 14):
    1. Replace the paper towel dispensers with dispensers that are not protruding objects with their leading edges projecting more than 4 inches into the circulation route at a height between 27 and 80 inches above the finish floor. UFAS § 4.4.
    2. Provide a fixed cane detectable element for the wall mounted metal storage cabinet near the entrance door (above the diaper changing table) so that it is not a protruding object with its leading edge projecting more than 4 inches into the circulation route at a height between 27 and 80 inches above the finish floor. UFAS § 4.4.
    3. Replace the feminine napkin dispenser with a dispenser that is not a protruding object with its leading edge projecting more than 4 inches into the circulation route at a height between 27 and 80 inches above the finish floor. UFAS § 4.4.
    4. Modify the designated accessible standard toilet stall to provide a side grab bar at least 40 inches long with the far end at least 52 inches from the rear wall; and provide a stall door that does not swing into the 59 inch deep toilet clear floor space. UFAS §§ 4.17.6, 4.22.4, 4.17.5, and 4.17.3.
    5. At the portal 14 ramp side designated accessible entrance door interior vestibule, move the wall so that the width of the accessible route is at least 42 inches wide for an accessible route with a turn around an obstruction. UFAS § 4.3.3.
    6. Lower the baby diaper changing table so that, in the open position, the top surface is no more than 34 inches above the floor. UFAS § 4.32

E. OTHER FACILITIES AND SERVICES AT THE STADIUM

The University will make the following modifications prior to the start of the 2008 football season.

  1. Modify the thresholds at the entrance and exit doors of the M-Den located on the south side of the Stadium parallel to Stadium Boulevard so that they are no higher than ½ inch and are beveled with a slope no greater than 1:2. UFAS § 4.13.8.
  2. Press Box Facility:5
    1. Provide a fixed cane detectable element for the two exit tower stairs where there is less than 80 inches minimum clear head room along these circulation routes. UFAS § 4.4.
    2. Main Press Box Elevator Lobby on Concourse (Ground Floor) Level:
      1. Until the 2010 season, ensure that the pair of entrance doors remains open from two hours prior to the start of the game until one hour after the end of the game in order to provide an accessible route to and through the doors to this elevator lobby.
      2. Until the 2010 season, provide an employee to monitor and operate the elevator for persons with disabilities from two hours prior to the start of the game until one hour after the end of the game.
      3. Until the 2010 season, provide an accessible means enabling persons with disabilities to communicate with the elevator operator.
    3. First Floor (Regent's Guests) Level:
        1. Provide signage at the elevator and at each inaccessible toilet room on this level directing persons with disabilities to the accessible toilet rooms to be created on the second floor of the Press Box (Print Press Area) Level.
        2. Provide a coat hook mounted no more than 54 inches above the finish floor for this side reach. UFAS § 4.25.3.
        3. Until the 2010 season, provide an accessible means enabling persons with disabilities to communicate with the elevator operator.
    4. Second Floor (Print Press Area) Level:
      1. Because the "Charge a Call" area on the north end of the main press room is in an area with less than 80 inches clear head room, UFAS § 4.4, the University will provide telephone(s) upon request in an accessible location.
      2. Until the 2010 season, provide an accessible means enabling persons with disabilities to communicate with the elevator operator.
      3. Until the 2010 season, provide an employee who will monitor the food area and operate the soda dispenser when the food portion is closed.
      4. Women's Toilet Room:

        (1) Provide an accessible entrance to this toilet room that will become a single-user toilet room. UFAS § 4.13.

        (2) Modify the lavatory to provide the required knee space. UFAS § 4.19.2.

        (3) Replace or relocate the paper towel dispensers so that they are not protruding objects with their leading edges projecting more than 4 inches into the circulation route at a height between 27 and 80 inches above the finish floor. UFAS § 4.4.

        (4) Provide tactile room identification signage mounted on the wall alongside the toilet room doors on the latch side that designates the toilet room as women's and has the International Symbol of Accessibility designating the toilet room as accessible. UFAS §§ 4.30.4, 4.30.5, 4.30.6, and 4.1.1(7)(d).

        (5) Provide a standard accessible toilet stall with a 60 inch wide clear floor space. UFAS §§ 4.22.4 and 4.17.

      5. Men's Toilet Room:

        (1) Modify the door to provide at least 18 inches latch side, pull side maneuvering clearance. UFAS § 4.13.7 .

        (2) Modify the lavatory to provide the required knee space. UFAS § 4.19.2.

        (3) Replace or relocate the paper towel dispensers so that they are not protruding objects with their leading edges projecting more than 4 inches into the circulation route at a height between 27 and 80 inches above the finish floor. UFAS § 4.4.

        (4) Provide tactile room identification signage mounted on the wall alongside the toilet room doors on the latch side that designates the toilet room as men's and has the International Symbol of Accessibility designating the toilet room as accessible. UFAS §§ 4.30.4, 4.30.5, 4.30.6, and 4.1.1(7)(d).

        (5) Provide a standard accessible toilet stall with a 60 inch wide clear floor space. UFAS §§ 4.22.4 and 4.17.

        (6) Provide an accessible urinal. UFAS §§ 4.22.5 and 4.18.

  3. Home Team Locker Room Facility:
    1. Coaches Office Area:
      1. Provide tactile room identification signage mounted on the wall alongside the room doors on the latch side. UFAS §§ 4.30.4 and 4.30.6.
  4. The University will provide transportation on an accessible shuttle or golf cart to the Stadium field should any individual with a mobility impairment require access to the field.

F. SIGNAGE

In addition to signage referenced in this Exhibit, the University will also provide the following signage throughout the Stadium prior to the start of the 2008 football season. UFAS §§ 4.1.2(15) and 4.1.1(7).

  1. Each accessible parking lot used by the University for football games will have signage identifying all accessible routes into and within the Stadium, the accessible ramps into each wheelchair seating area, the accessible portals for all wheelchair seating areas, the accessible toilet rooms, and all accessible parking areas. An example of such signage is found at Exhibit B, Drawing 11, incorporated herein by reference.6
  2. Each accessible entrance gate of the Stadium will have signage identifying the accessible entrance gates, all accessible routes into and within the Stadium, the accessible ramps into each wheelchair seating area, the accessible portals for all wheelchair seating, the accessible toilet rooms, and all accessible parking areas.
  3. Each inaccessible entrance gate of the Stadium will have signage directing to the accessible entrance gates.
  4. Identify each accessible gate with the International Symbol of Accessibility.
  5. At each accessible entrance gate, pamphlets will be handed out to all individuals with wheelchairs and their companions identifying the accessible entrances, all accessible routes into and within the Stadium, the accessible ramps into each wheelchair seating area, the accessible portals for all wheelchair seating, the accessible toilet rooms, and all accessible parking areas.
  6. At the inaccessible south approach ramp (Section 14), provide signage that this ramp is not accessible. In addition, provide signage at the south approach ramp at Section 15 designating it as accessible with the International Symbol of Accessibility. Also, provide directional signage designating the ramp at Section 15 as the accessible route to the accessible seats at Sections 9 -15 and to the accessible toilets at Section 14.
  7. At the inaccessible north approach ramp (Section 32), provide signage that this ramp is not accessible. In addition, provide signage at the north approach ramp at Section 31 designating it as accessible with the International Symbol of Accessibility. Also, provide directional signage designating the ramp at Section 31 as the accessible route to the accessible seats at Sections 31 -37 and to the accessible toilets at Section 32.
  8. All University football game schedules, programs, publications (including the University's website), and mailings that contain information regarding seating or season tickets at the Stadium will include information identifying the accessible parking policies and locations, the accessible entrance gates, all accessible routes into and within the Stadium, the accessible ramps into each wheelchair seating area, the accessible portals for all wheelchair seating, and the accessible toilet rooms.
  1. Provide an accessible route connecting portals 13-15 by adding a bridge around the South Men's and Women's Toilet Rooms at portal 14 on the Main Concourse at Level 72. UFAS § 4.3. See Exhibit B, Drawing 12, incorporated herein by reference.

        (3) Lower the paper towel dispenser so that the highest operable part is no more than 54 inches above the finish floor for a side approach. UFAS §§ 4.22.7 and 4.27.3.

      2. Glick Family Coaches Suite:

        (1) Provide a fixed cane detectable element for the flat screen TV on the wall to the side of the room entrance door so that it is not a protruding object with its leading edge projecting more than 4 inches into the circulation route at a height between 27 and 80 inches above the finish floor. UFAS § 4.4.

        (2) Alter the skirt protecting the pipes under the lavatory in the single user toilet room to provide the required knee and toe space. UFAS § 4.19.2.

        (3) Modify the shower area to provide an accessible shower and an accessible route at least 36 inches wide to the accessible shower. UFAS §§ 4.21 and 4.3.3.

        (4) Lower the paper towel dispenser so that the highest operable part is no more than 54 inches above the finish floor for a side approach. UFAS §§ 4.22.7 and 4.27.3.

      3. Modify the door between the corridor serving the coaches suite and the player examination room to provide at least 18 inches latch side, pull side maneuvering clearance. UFAS § 4.13.6.
    2. Players Locker Room Area:
      1. Alter the skirt protecting the pipes under the lavatory in the single user toilet room to provide the required knee and toe space. UFAS § 4.19.2.
      2. Provide a paper towel dispenser with the highest operable part no more than 54 inches above the finish floor and that is not a protruding object. UFAS §§ 4.22.7, 4.27.3, and 4.4.
      3. Replace the threshold at the juncture between the toilet room and the shower room with a threshold that is no higher than ½ inch and beveled with a slope no greater than 1:2. UFAS § 4.5.2.
      4. Modify the designated accessible roll-in shower stall to provide controls mounted no further than 27 inches from the closest wall and does not interfere with the use of the grab bar; and remove the seat. UFAS § 4.21.
      5. Relocate the toilet paper dispenser in the designated accessible toilet stall so that the farthest edge of the toilet paper is no more than 36 inches from the rear wall. UFAS § 4.17.3.
      6. Relocate the toilet in the designated accessible toilet stall or modify the partitions so that the toilet is 18 inches from the closest wall to the centerline of the toilet. UFAS § 4.17.3.
  1. There will be 16 accessible parking spaces, 6 of which will be permanently striped, in the Blue Lot West parking area (Lot SC36). UFAS §§ 4.6.1 - 4.6.4 and Fig. 9. See Exhibit B, Drawing 1, incorporated herein by reference.
  2. Create an additional 30 accessible parking spaces in the Blue Lot inside Kipke Drive, (Lot SC2) northeast of Gate 1, across from the VIP entrance. UFAS §§ 4.6.2 - 4.6.4 and Fig. 9.     1. Lower the distribution counter in the Equipment Room so that the top of the work service is no more than 34 inches above the floor. UFAS § 4.32.4.
    2. Replace the threshold at the pair of entrance doors leading into the Home Team Locker Room suite so that it is no higher than ½ inch and beveled with a slope no greater than 1:2, and provide an exterior maneuvering space that is level. UFAS §§ 4.13.8 and 4.13.6.
