Display Racks

A store decides to add wall-mounted display racks in one area of the store. The racks will extend out into the circulation space for customers. Before the racks are installed, the manager calls the ADA Information Line to make sure they are acceptable. He is told to install them so the bottom shelf is less than 27 inches above the floor. At that height, the racks will not be a hazard to customers who are blind or have low vision.
