ATTACHMENT G: Program Access Modifications at Emergency
Shelters
The Department found the following violations at Fairfax
County emergency shelters that are not owned or operated by the County.
Within three months of the effective date of this Agreement, the County will
implement and report to the Department its written plan regarding how and
when these violations will be remedied so that the shelters are fully
accessible to persons with disabilities.
The chart below lists the facilities surveyed, identifies
the access issues found at the facility, gives an alphanumeric code for the
required remedial action, and specifies a deadline for completion of the
action, which begins to run as of the effective date of the Agreement. The key
to the alphanumeric codes is found in Attachment M to this Agreement. |
