Instructions for Submitting Public Comments
on the Advance Notices of Proposed Rulemaking (ANPRMs)

On July 26, 2010, the Department published four advance notices of proposed rulemaking (ANPRMs) in the Federal Register seeking public comment on the topics addressed by these fact sheets. Comments will be accepted for 180 days.

ANPRM Comment Period Ends Monday, January 24, 2011

The public comment period for submitting comments on any of the four Advanced Notices of Proposed Rulemaking (ANPRMs) published on July 26, 2010, is coming to a close. Written comments must be postmarked and electronic comments must be submitted on or before Monday, January 24, 2011. Commenters should be aware that the Regulations.gov/Federal Docket Management System, which receives electronic comments, will not accept comments after midnight Eastern Time on the last day of the comment period.
