Figure A7. shows two possible configurations of a small toilet room with a roll-in shower.

Figure A7(a). Shows a room that is 90 inches long and 60 inches wide. A 32 inch wide doorway is located near the middle of the 90 inch long wall, one side of the doorway is adjacent to the opening of the shower, 30 inches from the back wall of the shower. A roll-in shower is located to the right of the doorway along one of the 60 inch wide walls. The shower is 30 inches deep and has an 18 inch deep seat located at the end of the shower adjacent to the doorway. On the wall opposite the doorway, a water closet is located in the corner (to the left) and a lavatory is located directly across from the doorway. A side and rear grab bar is shown at the water closet. The centerline of the water closet is 18 inches from the side wall. The centerline of the lavatory is 30 inches from the centerline of the water closet.

Figure A7(b). Shows a room that is 93 inches long and 60 inches wide. A 32 inch wide doorway is located near the middle of one of the long walls. A roll-in shower with the same dimensions and shower seat as in A7(a). above is located to the left of the doorway. A lavatory and water closet are located on the 60 inch wide wall to the right of the doorway. Two grab bars are installed at the water closet on the side wall and back wall. The side grab bar extends along the long wall opposite the doorway into the roll-in shower. The centerline of the water closet is 18 inches from the side wall. The centerline of the lavatory is 27 inches from the centerline of the water closet.
