Figure 3(a) 60-inch (1525-mm) Diameter Turning Space.
Figure 3(b) T-Shaped Space for 180 degree Turns. The T-shaped space must be a minimum of 36 inches (915 mm) in width. The space forming the top of the "T" must extend at least 12 inches (305 mm) beyond the intersection in each direction and the space forming the base of the "T" must extend at least 24 inches (610 mm) beyond the intersection. The "T" fits within a 60 inches (1525 mm) square.
