Figure 39(c) Handrail. A rounded gripping surface is provided on top of a rectangular railing supported from a bottom bracket attached to a side wall. Spacing between handrail and the adjacent wall shall be 1-1/2 inches (38 mm). Rounded handrail surface shall be 1-1/4 to 1-1/2 inches diameter (32 - 38 mm).
